Welcome to the Gurth Society Premier League scoring system. Our unique scoring system combines match results with bonus points for exceptional play, ensuring that both winning and skillful golf are rewarded.

Playoffs
The top 6 players qualify for the playoffs. The format is as follows:
- 1st and 2nd place receive automatic semi-final spots
- 3rd plays 6th and 4th plays 5th in quarter-finals
- Winners progress to face 1st and 2nd in semi-finals
- Winners of semi-finals meet in the final
Tournament Rules & Regulations
- Entry Fee: All players must have paid their tournament fee before participating
- Cash Tournament: Prize money is collected by a designated holder and distributed at the end of each round
- Score Entry: Players must only enter their own scores and maintain honesty in reporting
- Handicaps: Handicaps are final for the season and will not be updated until next year
- Gimmes: Allowed but must be mutually agreed upon before the match
- Long Putts: Must be agreed between pairs and added to the scoring at the end of the round
- Scoring: Birdies and eagles are counted as NET scores, not GROSS
- Score Validation: Players must keep scorecards for all matches for potential validation
- Regular Season Ties: Will be decided based on head-to-head results
- Playoff Ties: Subject to sudden death hole - lowest score including handicap wins (no bonus points for birdies, eagles, long putts etc.)
Prize Distribution
- Regular Season Winner: 40% of total prize fund
- Playoffs Champion: 60% of total prize fund
